La Côte Fleurie

In yet another beautiful public garden
So we have a handy two day bus pass that lets us hop from town to town all along the coast here, so today we went South to wander around Cabourg (weird name... apparently they don't know the origin. It's certainly not french!). Continuing our streak, it was a really lovely little sea town. We gawked at the gellato shops, smelled lots of pretty flowers (ok, that was me) and wandered along the beach. It struck us how beautiful the beach was and how few people were on it... I think if there were a similar beach in the states it would have been packed on a a day like today. I guess all the french people take off August for vacation? Anyway, it was nice for us!
A pretty building in town
We are so lucky with the weather this week!

Michael likes ducks. And a goose! but really, the duck pen seemed kind of random in this person's yard.
