Au Revoir, Normandy!

Boy, did our stay in Deauville go quickly! My Uncle Kevin, Aunt Véro, and cousins Clement, Eliott and Noé came out for a day on the beach and to bring us back to the Paris area to stay with them until we head to London next week. We had a really lovely day at the beach with them; we went to lunch at a sand-side restaurant and got our fix of mussels, so Michael can check that off his "things to do/eat in France" list. It was pretty tasty. Then we relaxed on the beach in the sun and watched my littlest cousin play in the waves. And of course, the day was topped off with ice cream cones on the way back to the car.
We're now back at my Aunt's and Uncle's in Villenes-Sur-Seine, a suburb of Paris. It's really beautiful here. There are horses in the field next door, and plums ripe on the trees in the back orchard. So this will be nice. (:

It wasn't as cold as expected!
