Getting Started

Hello, Friends and Family!
To streamline the process of sharing out travels through France, England and Wales, we are keeping a blog. This also gets around the fact that there is an attachment size limit on emails, which makes it tricky to send home photos that way. And neither of us is a big fan of facebook photo albums.
So we'll basically be throwing our photos up here for everyone to see, and I'll try to get captions on the important ones. And maybe write a sentence or two or something about how we're doing.
Ok, enough explanation and onto actual news: there isn't much yet. The trip was pretty smooth and now we're both just jetlagged enough to be less than fully functional but not quite enough to be asleep. So we walked with my Aunt to the local boulangerie and bought baguettes... the French know how to do bread. The rest of the afternoon will probably be spent sleeping, smelling the roses in my Uncle's really pretty garden, and wandering around the town a bit. Fun times!
And fair warning: this is probably the wordiest post you'll get with the fewest pictures. But check back every couple of days or so and we'll try to keep more pictures coming.
                                                                                                     Love, Valerie and Michael

We're on a plane!
My aunt and uncle have a beautiful garden, and a really cute guest annex.
